Fotios Alexandridis
Welcome! I am a Computer Science Ph.D. student in the ZEST group, at the university of Zurich, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alberto Bacchelli. My research focuses on empirical software engineering, with particular interests in complex software engineering systems and their optimization.
Before starting my Ph.D., I was an active member of the ARISTURTLE Formula Student team. There, I mainly worked with the autonomous aspect of the race car, with notable work on algorithms for state estimation, writting sensor drivers, setting up and maintaining the computer system of the car and wiring autonomous system sensors. After my tenure in the formula student team, I was a software engineering intern at Tesla.
Along with my Ph.D., I also enjoy working on side projects from time to time, mostly to try out new programming languages and technologies, and having fun! When not working, you will find me either playing tennis, working out, or hiking in the mountains.
Feel free to contact me if you have any interesting projects ideas in mind, or just want to connect!
